An online SaaS application for a US client is under way. (July 24, 2009)Shinetech recently signed a contract with a US client for an online SaaS application development, engaging a core team of 2 senior agile engineers at Shinetech. The client is a marketing consultancy company, who provides online marketing services. The required application is an online system which employs large amount of data warehousing and customized analysis reports presented to end users. After providing a high-level technical proposal and a satisfying one-week free pilot, Shinetech gains the client's confidence in its service and the team's capability, and an ongoing partnership with renewable monthly contracts is initiated. Since the client is more specialized in marketing industry instead of being a technical IT firm, he is mostly involved in the business requirement definition, and Shinetech as technical partner leads the development from planning to implementation. Technology mainly used is Java in the project. The team and the client have been having a 1-2 hours' conference call every day to communicate the latest progress and the business requirements.
