Shinetech designed a three- man team working under agile method for an UK ISV. (January 29, 2010)

Shinetech signed a contract with a UK ISV last week for co-development of one of its products. The UK company has only 15 developers internally and intends to have 5+ new software products online in 2010. The cooperation started with a full time three – man team which is expected to involve 15 developers in the near future.

According to the client's current situation and outsourcing plan, we designed the team with one lead developer, two intermediate developers and a part- time team leader to coordinate the whole process of inside and outside for the following steps of team expansion. With regard to the team responsibility, we proposed to start from the implementation level to avoid the low efficiency caused by knowledge shortage of client's business.

The software product need co-developing is mainly based on Java, XML and Swing.

Currently, the cooperation is in the initial phase to practice the most suitable working process for both sides: sprint management, daily meeting, test driven development, code review have been included in the everyday working activities.
